ESGW 2023 – Duty of Care Convention

At Golden Palace Casino Sports, our social commitment is at the heart of our mission, and we are determined to act for the well-being of our players and the community. It was therefore logical for us to sign the Duty of Care agreement, as a sign of our ongoing commitment to have a positive influence on the future of our industry.

Signed on Tuesday, 14 November during the European Responsible Gaming Week, the Duty of Care Convention provides a clear framework for the entire sector, enabling legal operators to provide equivalent protection for players.

The agreement is also based on a commitment by each operator to implement a prevention policy by 14/11/2024. This policy comprises 4 main principles.

1. Systematic monitoring of players' behaviour to detect problem gambling, based on criteria such as the frequency, duration or intensity of sessions.

2. Implementation of actions and/or recommendations to protect players, such as risk information, voluntary deposit limits or self-exclusion.

3. The introduction of an education and training program for staff.

4. Active collaboration with the Gaming Commission, sharing their prevention policy.
