Sponsorship - Golden Palace signs for 3 seasons with RAAL
Golden Palace Casino & Sports is continuing its support for worthy sports partners by signing a sponsorship contract with RAAL La Louvière for the next 3 seasons. Starting with the 2022-2023 season, the Belgian casino and sports betting group will stand by the green and white club of La Louvière, bearing the club number 94, in order to realise its sporting ambitions to climb the ladder of Belgian football.
As one of the most important players in the Belgian entertainment and sports betting industry, Golden Palace's love of sport is a common thread in its history. With more than 40 gaming halls and betting shops across Belgium, the group is proud of its presence in Belgium. The group is also proud of its popular online presence on the goldenpalace.be website, which recently celebrated its 10th anniversary.
Teaming up with RAAL is teaming up with history, given the club's deep roots in regional and Belgian football. Fans and supporters have fond memories of the club's glory days in the early 2000s. In 2003, the Green and White Wolves even won the Belgian Cup after beating STVV (Saint-Truiden) 1-3. This allowed the club to participate in the UEFA Cup the following season, where they played a heroic double-header against Benfica.
Local presence is essential
The fact that RAAL also emphasises the importance of thinking and acting locally was another decisive factor in the sponsorship deal. RAAL recruits its staff and players from its region, a region in which Golden Palace is also present. "For this sponsorship deal, Golden Palace was attracted to RAAL La Louvière beyond common values such as transparency and business ethics" says Massimo Menegalli, CEO of Golden Palace. "Local involvement was a crucial factor: Golden Palace is present in the Central Region with gaming rooms in La Louvière (Houdeng-Ggnies) and Anderlues." In a broader sense, both RAAL and Golden Palace are local in that they are 100% Belgian entities.
Through this sponsorship agreement, the Golden Palace Group and RAAL will be working on a near future where both partners will be mutually beneficial. As RAAL President Salvatore Curaba says: "It is a privilege for RAAL to be joined by a partner like Golden Palace - an important player in the Belgian landscape and a company with a national reputation and scope. This partnership gives a lot of legitimacy to our project. We are delighted to have concluded an agreement for the next 3 seasons, which I am sure will be the beginning of a long story. It is an honour for us to live this adventure with a company that shares our values."
Golden Palace feels privileged to help RAAL in any way possible as it prepares to cross its first hurdle: the second division of Belgian football within 2 years. This strong partnership based on common ground will in turn benefit Golden Palace, as the group positions itself more as a fun but above all safe provider of casino games and sports betting.
RAAL fans will also be pleased with this sponsorship agreement, as it gives RAAL a boost in its quest for sporting achievements within its reach. The presence of Golden Palace at RAAL's Tivoli stadium also means that fans will be able to enjoy the many events that the Group organises for fans. Golden Palace players will also benefit, as they will be able to take advantage of competitions and promotions for RAAL on its social networks and on goldenpalace.be.
With this sponsoring agreement, the first by the group of a team affiliated to the RBFA of the third division of Belgian football, Golden Palace confirms its belief in the aspirations and ambitions of RAAL La Louvière. Thanks to the unique perspective of watching RAAL's struggle to climb the first division, Golden Palace is convinced that it will also develop to its true potential, while always prioritising social responsibility and the spirit of football.
