Operation Clean Ocean: Golden Place collects waste in Boulogne-sur-Mer for World Ocean Day

Last Saturday, to mark World Ocean Day, our CSR Committee joined our teams in Bou-logne-sur-Mer to help clean up the beach. This is the third consecutive year that the Golden Palace Casino BsM team has organized this action together with the association Toffe environnement. For the past three years, this action has enabled us to become more aware of the consequences of human actions on land and at sea.

Accompanied by friends and family and loyal casino customers, we scoured the beach of Boulogne-sur-Mer in search of garbage. The results were similar to those of previous years, with a mass of plastic packaging and glass bottles scattered all over the beach. Our efforts paid off, as we filled a total of 10 bins with garbage during this morning's beach clean-up.

While all that garbage is a sad sight, we're delighted to be fully involved in good causes. Whether by organizing these initiatives or by our recent acquisition of Philippe Geluck's statue of the Cat entitled "On en a plein le dos", we can pride ourselves in addressing the problem of pollution in our oceans.
