Golden Palace supports a more inclusive start to the school year

The start of the school year is an important moment for children and their families, but it can also be a source of stress for some households, particularly because of the budget required to purchase school supplies. It is with this in mind that, for the past five years, Golden Palace has taken part in the "Back to School" initiative, organised by the local Laeken branch of the Belgian Restos du Coeur. The initiative collects school supplies to help families in need prepare for the new school year under better conditions.

Donations to prepare for the new school year

Over several weeks, our employees and the teams at Press Shop & More were able to contribute to the collection by donating various school supplies. Notebooks, pens, pencil cases, backpacks... these essential school supplies were collected and then distributed to families supported by Restos du Coeur. A tangible contribution that will help many children start the school year with the materials they need.

A long-term commitment

Our participation in the "Back to School" initiative has become a yearly solidarity initiative that we are proud to renew. For the past five years, we have joined foreces with the Restos du Coeur teams around the same goal: helping make the start of the school year more accessible for families who need support.
