Golden Palace employees raise €5,500 in the Oxfam Trailwalker

On Friday 19 May, a number of Golden Palace employees took part in the Oxfam Trailwalker, a sporting challenge designed to raise funds to fight poverty around the world.

As a reminder, the Oxfam Trail is organised in two slightly different formats: a distance of 25 km to be completed in a maximum of 7 hours and a distance of 100 km to be completed in 30 hours.

This year, for our second participation as a company, no fewer than 17 motivated employees decided to take up the challenge! We had two teams to represent us in each of the two formats on offer:

• The Golden Walkers and the Golden Rangers for the 25 km. The challenge? To cover 25 km in less than 7 hours.
• The Golden Trailers and Golden Retrievers took on the 100km challenge, which they had to complete in under 30 hours.

Taking part in this event was as much a challenge as it was a way of uniting the teams around a common cause. The participants were lucky enough to receive moral support from some of their colleagues, who went all the way to Saint-Hubert to support them in this charity challenge!

Thanks to the involvement of our employees who took part in the walk and the many others who sponsored them, we raised no less than €5,500 for Oxfam!

Once again, we'd like to congratulate them on their commitment throughout this experience, which is sure to have left a lasting impression on them!
