A new environmental initiative takes root in Charleroi

At Golden Palace, environmental commitment goes beyond one-off actions. It is part of an ongoing dynamic, driven by our employees and rooted in the cities where we operate. Following an initial mobilisation during the Grand Nettoyage campaign organised by Be WaPP last March, one thing became clear to our Charleroi teams: taking action for the city's cleanliness should not stop there.

On Thursday 5 February, colleagues from Golden Palace Charleroi and Golden Palace Comedie Centrale once again rolled up their sleeves to give the streets of Charleroi a fresh boost. Equipped with gloves and bags, they walked through neighbourhoods collecting litter and making a very tangible contribution to a cleaner, more pleasant public space for everyone.

A commitment becoming a regular rendezvous

From this month onward, the initiative is entering a new phase. Our regional teams will now come together once a month to carry out these clean-up actions.

A simple gesture. A consistent rhythm. A shared determination to make a difference – together.

This environmental meet-up is becoming a true anchor point for those who want to take local action to improve their living environment.

Taking action where we are rooted

This initiative perfectly illustrates our CSR vision: responsibility lived out in the field, at the heart of the cities and communities we are part of. Our teams know their environment, work there every day, and genuinely care about making a meaningful local impact.

A dynamic made possible by the strength of the Group

If these local initiatives come to life and stand the test of time, it is also thanks to the support and momentum of the Group. Golden Palace encourages, values and facilitates actions that originate on the ground and grow through the energy of our employees.

We firmly believe that strong collective movements are built on concrete initiatives driven by committed teams. We are proud to see these environmental gatherings becoming a lasting fixture across our regions.
